Friday, February 28, 6pm: Welcome Dinner and Drinks at Cosmic Coffee and Beer Garden
Saturday, February 29, 6am to 6pm : Full day of butchery, bbq, discussions, and food.
Sunday, March 1, 9am to 5pm: More discussions, pulling/slicing/plating and commencement.
Because of space and time constraints, we are only accepting 30 students for our Winter Course. We will be taking applications for both professional AND amateur cooks from Texas and from out of state. Experience is preferred, a passion for BBQ is a must.
In-state professional (you live in Texas and cook or prepare food for money): $1500
Out-of-state professional (you live outside of Texas and cook or prepare food for money): $1000
Amateur cook (you cook for FUN- either in state or out of state) : $500
LODGING AND TRANSPORTATION:
We have a block of discounted rooms available at The Carpenter Hotel - PROMO CODE: NEWSCHOOL
We will be picking up students each morning and dropping them off each evening at The Carpenter. Transportation Schedule - TBA.
Otherwise, there is ample parking and ride share options in our area.
